I was at this show. It was my second VH concert after having seen them open for Irish rockers Horslips at the Palladium in 1978. That year, I had bought fifteenth row orchestra tickets the week before the show. This, however, was their first headlining show in NYC and I was up in the balcony. It was clear to all of us that they would conquer the world--even then the Palladium was barely big enough for DLR's already rampant ego. And yes, they did conquer the world. After this show, I didn't see VH live for 27 years.
